Proverbs 22:6 The Passion Translation
Hi, I'm Marshay
Founder
Hello! I’m the founder of Navira Christian Academy. While my journey has been unconventional, my passion for Christ-centered education and community impact runs deep.
I bring years of ministry teaching and leadership experience, both locally and cross-culturally, combined with a strong background in healthcare as a licensed paramedic specializing in emergency medical and trauma care, skills training, and wellness outreach.
My educational background includes studies in emergency medical treatment, criminal justice, child advocacy, and biblical studies. This unique blend of hands-on ministry, healthcare, and academic experience fuels my commitment to creating a nurturing, flexible environment where children can thrive spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
At Navira Christian Academy, we believe every student is uniquely gifted by God and deserves an education that equips them for a purposeful life of service and leadership.
I’m honored to partner with families on this exciting journey of faith and learning.
Many parents want their children deeply anchored in faith but may not know all the safe and effective ways to nurture imagination and worldview. Some parents haven’t fully immersed themselves in biblical literacy but remain hopeful for their children’s spiritual growth.
Simply putting the Bible back in classrooms isn’t enough. Though Scripture is read in churches, many families are fractured, and many young people feel disconnected from God’s family. The solution is a living God who works in and through us—not just a static book.
Mainstream education often misses the mark on developing morally upright, well-cultured students. Christian schools sometimes focus more on behavior management than true healing and transformation through Christ. Many students from difficult backgrounds are turned away, but they need renewal and grace—not rejection.
At Navira Christian Academy, we serve both the privileged and the underserved. We equip students to become academically strong, biblically literate, and spiritually profound. Our focus is not just academics—it’s building a community that heals and supports families and students.
We want students to ask deep questions about history, citizenship, community, and family. They will learn about the rich cultures God created and discover how God reveals Himself uniquely through different peoples and times.
We pray for students who trust God’s Word, understand prayer and the Spirit’s power, and bring God’s solutions to today’s challenges. Some thrive best with creative, nontraditional education. Whether homeschooled or in school, we give them tools to impact the world.
Students passionate about science and medicine will be empowered to serve as Christ’s hands and feet, bringing healing and hope wherever they go.
Our graduates will go on to college, military service, and leadership roles, sharing Christ’s abundant life. We envision future pastors, evangelists, teachers, and ministers who serve broken communities and spread God’s love.
Not every family will find their perfect fit here—and that’s okay. We honor the unique path God has for each student and family, praying they find the place where God calls them.
