Need an innovative solution to homeschool and home-based learning?
Navira Christian Academy is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led micro-school designed to raise purpose-driven youth to know God, live abundantly, think critically, and love honorably as global citizens of faith.
Based in Alabama, our vision is to launch K-12 hybrid learning, whether learning at home across the U.S., or gathering with technology in small community classrooms.
Navira Christian Academy (NCA K-12) builds globally competent citizens of prayer, transformation, and community impact. Our students grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally to impact the world in righteousness and justice.
From our values, faith formation, and academic implementation, we pursue a holistic pathway. Holistic pathway means that NCA K-12 is focused on formation of the entire child through whole-person growth in mind, body, and spirit development. We focus on the whole-child becoming formed in truth, character, and identity.
Spiritual Intelligence: Developing a "Faith First" approach to life, rooted in God’s Word, relationship with God, and holy relationship with others.
Excellence in Learning: Diverse, engaging curriculum that aims for intellectual growth, academic competence, and subject-matter literacy.
Emotional Intelligence: Creating a culture of emotional wellness, mental clarity, and resilence, while developing a "Pray First" approach to cultivating standards of excellence in honoring character.
Diversity and Inclusion: We embrace God’s diverse creation and cultivate community with respect, cultural awareness, and global citizenship built on faith-rooted values.
Our beta launch offers fully online classes through our selected curricula. The majority of these can be participated in combining independent study and parent facilitation. Meanwhile some stages of learning includes online teacher interaction.
As enrollment grows, we plan to offer hybrid learning—combining online study with local in-person gatherings for academic support and community discipleship.
Much of our program utilizes curricula from vetted online developers in secular K12 education as well as Christian education. Many of the various programs that make up our diverse curricula are often seen in private K12 institutions, charter schools, or homeschool families.
